Looks like they are testing an anti-iPad mode. On a regular laptop or netbook, you could just turn the screen upside down. No go on the iPad.

Unicode has upside down versions of most characters, most of them for the phonetic alphabet. A simple algorithm can replace the characters with upside down versions.
