America's governmental resources should be focused on American problems and not a civil war half way across the world.

I don't care if you perceive me as a monster but if people over there want to blow each other up let them - we have plenty to worry about over here without being the world police.

Whether you agree with intervention or not, "let them blow each other up" is not contributing to the discussion.

Civilians don't have any say in the matter, and most of them want the same things we do — peace and physical security. That's it.
