Just because we're the one usually excluded from photos encouraging diversity, since for some reason we're oppressing, even though we've driven the tech ecosystem for ages. And by driving, I mean, working our asses off, hoping for help, no matter what color, gender, sex, etc.

The fact that you're benefiting from the system does not imply that you are oppressing. Matter of fact, in quite a few studies women are just as prejudiced against women as men.

So don't take it so personally. It's not about you but about the society we all want to build together.

(The distinction between benefiting and causing is lost on some of the diversity advocates, too, unfortunately.)
