After all the massive down-voting I'm getting now, and all the pro-dick-joke comments, I've changed my opinion. Apparently American tech workers (esp. Silicon Valley ones, since they dominate the readership here) really are a bunch of sexist pigs. TIL. I didn't realize I was hanging out with such a bunch of low-lifes.

Honestly, between the frat-boy behavior of techies, and the open-plan offices, I really wish I had gone into the legal field instead. My girlfriend in legal has a wonderful (and quiet) office, and never has any problem with misogyny or blatantly crude and unprofessional behavior at work. The tech industry has really turned into garbage in the past couple of decades.
