"barely know" isn't the case here. The guy seems to have a solid understanding. I certainly don't agree with his opinion on golang, and golang is still a fantastic choice for many of my uses.

Yep. I don’t agree with his opinion, but he probably doesn’t agree with mine about Rust: I’d rather gouge my eyes out than use that shit for anything other than a C/C++ replacement.
