An altruistic blockchain project?

Hi, I was recently at a hackathon with a couple of friends and we decided to make a decentralized platform for science and math problems that democratizes the computation and data availability. Similar to other distributed computing platforms like BOINC, but Arithmetica will be built for the distributed web and will be much easier to use.

Arithmetica is run entirely in the browser with nothing to install and we implemented the Collatz Conjecture for demonstration purposes. Remember, it was designed so that you can submit your own problems and benefit from others that are willing to donate spare CPU cycles.

Arithmetica was written in 36 hours so keep an open mind, but we would like some feedback from this community on where to take it next.
