I wonder about how you calculate this.

I make 125k/yr, cost of living is less than 40k/yr(this admittedly includes my gigantic house, prior we were living on 19k/yr)

The whole 'vacation' thing doesn't impact me. I just take time off.

I see people say similar things about health insurance and 'benefits'. The moment you quantify how expensive(or rather, how cheap) benefits are, is the moment you start chasing higher pay.
