This whole situation looks like that movie. MS has started convincing people to trust them once again, after capturing sovereign territory. The vampire is feeding cookies to the developer, and sucking blood out the company that hosts the developer's code on the vampire's cloud.
Not such a bad deal for us developers, IMO.
