You should learn about the salt balance in the body a bit and then try doing things to mess with it. It could be a sodium issue, hence the gatorade helping, or maybe a potassium issue as well. There is such thing as drinking too much water vs. the salts you consume on a daily basis.
Thanks, helpful overview. How would I diagnose what’s gone wrong though? The article was good, but I’m not sure what steps to take. Just try a bunch of different salts in isolation and varying quantities?
