We need to have a dialogue about a reasonable mechanism by which China can compensate the rest of the world for their losses. Many lives gone, billions disrupted, and trillions in wealth destroyed. It is fundamentally unfair for other countries to be saddled with the expense, and if China is permitted to externalize the costs of covid 19, chances are we’ll be back here for covid 20.
