https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-020-00548-w already discredited. the confusion in all this is that there are reservoirs for virus versus the intermediate animal for which the virus infected and mutated to become the current sars-cov-2. in this case the pangolin is neither and appears to have one the many versions of coronavirus that may very well have come from bats but is too different to be considered to be part of the virus lineage of sars-cov-2.

this article claims that the origins of sars was found but I am sure they are mischaracterizing the reservoir vs the actual intermediate animal source for sars.
