Tried everything, reformatting, different OS versions, etc.Turns out it was one of my mini displayport -> hdmi adapters, replaced that and everything was fine. discuss order hn newest smsx|5 years ago I had the exact same issue with a 2017 13” MBP. Switching from one of those tiny usb c hubs to a full fledged dock with external power solved it.
