That's two goals which might require different values of X, and while the owner/CEO might agree with making company success a priority, he's not likely to make employee satisfaction his goal and it's his company. Unless it's a co-op, employee satisfaction is likely not a realistic goal. The goal is making the owners the most money, not providing enjoyable jobs to employees. Production of jobs is a side effect of trying to make money, which the goal.
