I tried to increase my typing speed and accuracy numerous times but it remained a disaster nevertheless. The biggest improvement was when I switched to the Colemak keyboard layout. For anyone struggling with typing fast and accurately I suggest you give it a try. The first few weeks will be tough but once you get "it", you will never go back.
