I liked the story about Singer. I didn't realize how drastically something small like a sewing machine changed day to day life for people and America as a whole

When there's a need there's a way. I find it interesting how the need to ship sewing machines across the US had triggered building entire railroads

I've always wondered what separates a great story or pitch from a mediocre one. There are plenty of articles describing how to write a great story but I find them abstract, not practical enough. Anyway I like the initial hook of these and the short format.
