Ask HN: Are there any kbfs alternatives?

The only feature I use from Keybase at this point is kbfs because it's so darn simple. I'd love to get away from Keybase, however, now that they're owned by Zoom. Are there any existing (open source/self-hosted) alternatives to their kbfs product? Here's what I'm looking for:

- syncs to many devices - encrypts and syncs in the background - auto encryption (I don't have to do it manually for every file) - new devices can decrypt existing files
