I think twitter and other social media platforms are generally in a pretty bad state in this regard. Those websites don't have a two-class system for users, everyone signs the same TOS.
Celebrities or the president should get the exact same treatment anyone else gets, because Trump on twitter is literally just Donald Trump, not the president. If he wants to speak ex cathedra, he has official channels for that purpose.

There has been a specific legal battle about almost exactly this question. So far, the US court system disagrees with you.

I don't use Twitter, but it appears to very much so have a two class system.
Blue check marked people have a quite different experience to regular users.
Not that I support their policy but let’s be honest, before Trump, Twitter was languishing and totally stagnating when compared to Facebook. They owe their resurgence to Trump and other extremists on both sides.
As soon as he starts claiming (with zero evidence) voter fraud and instigating insurrection against president elect joe Biden, I guarantee Twitter will be ban him before Biden’s swearing in.
I think it's indicative on the Left after 6 months telling people it's not about you, it's the other people you kill, this shows they don't truly believe what they have been preaching.
The closer he goes to death the riskier a carrier he is.
Not that wishing death on someone is actually a death threat or anything real, does Twitter think all those Amharic Curses are real as well?
The Left, the Right, the Middle, the whatever are not singular entities with a single mind an purpose. To me such generalizations really do not help people discuss such topics.
