Not using OpenBSD, but I'm running PopOS! after years on MacOs on a non-descript Walmart laptop. I was able to remove the branding on this one, so it's just some silver laptop on the outside. I was able to upgrade to 16gb of Ram and 1.5TB HDD for right at about $600 all together. I also have big USB ports, rj45, hdmi and a microSd reader. I can't complain. Things are fast and snappy and battery life is great. I was familiar with Linux before this, but this full plunge I took earlier this year has been awesome.One thing I do miss is the Notes app since I could use it on my phone, but they can be accessed via the web.
