Here is a tl;dr:

- Avoid dates on your content.

- Avoid templates, like stock imagery.

- Avoid commoditized labels (such as calling a book a pdf).

- Don't use self-deprecating language or show self-doubt.

- Change formats - turn your old article into a recorded podcast.

- Finally, close off with where people can learn more about you for e.g. "here is what ive been working on lately".
