Sound advice.

Hiring an employee can be time-consuming, costly and quite risky. Besides a litmus test, what can we ask to dig into capabilities and skill levels?

Can we do paid tests?

Let's say we are looking for any candidate off the street (of Gotham to use your analogy) - can we use an interview checklist, whiteboarding and panel interviews with a team. Is this better suited for ICs or can we use them for a founding member?

Genuinely curious.
