Great question! We're aiming for twice as easy to use/understand, at half the price.
Examples –
Twice as easy: Their 500X kit cannot run a 500W device (it outputs 300W continuous) in the fine print. It also uses proprietary plugs so you cannot use third-party panels. Ours just gives you examples of what you can run, and labels things accordingly.
Half the price: Their "medium" (300W out instead of 500W as mentioned above) runs $699 for the generator + $299 for the 100W panel, = $998, while we sell the same (but with better support) for $599.
