Remember MillionDollarHomepage? I've built a reinterpretation for iOS apps&games

Do you remember MillionDollarHomepage.com? I'm sure the older of us do :)
A little back story: I'm a 39 years developer, a husband and a father. As a developer I have more than 500 side projects under my belt. Some of the projects got legs, but none were a hit. Ever since I found out about MDH, in 2005, I felt like the idea could also be applied to other fields, but never found the right fit.
That was until recently, when a friend of mine launched a simple app for iOS and asked me to help with the marketing. I looked for a directory where I could submit it, but I couldn't find a good one. That’s when the proverbial light bulb went on :) I should build a MillionDollarHomepage for iOS apps and games!
After several implementations, here’s what I’ve came up with: https://MillionDollarTablet.com
Those who own iOS apps or games can submit their creations to the Free page, but to get the most benefits, they should choose a paid submission.
There’s a catch: the more submissions there are, the higher the price gets. Here are the mechanics: - the first 50 spots (first screen) are priced at $100 each (90% discount), the next 50 spots (2nd screen) are priced at $200, and so on. From the 10th page onward each spot costs $1,000 - the first spot on the dock costs $500. The next one $1,000, and so on. The 15th spot costs $7,500
The end goal is to reach $1,000,000 from all the submissions and that’s when the submission process will close.
Here are some of the benefits for the paid listings: - The app or game will be listed for 10 years !!! - The app or game will appear on the main screen - Each submission gets 4 do follow links (main screen, detailed page, directory, free screen) – great for SEO - Owners get monthly emails with the number of clicks for each of their listings
I’ve launched MDT about 2 weeks ago, contacted multiple app and games owners and managed to sell 22 spots.
What do you think about my quirky iOS directory?
