I think this is funny that we’re on a .uk TLD for this. As far as I’m aware, scooters and segways etc are not legal to use anywhere in public in the UK (not that it stops people), which is why we don’t have the sort of scooter apps that mainland European cities have (lime etc).

Lucky! We have them all over the place. The users seem so excited to be riding them that they don’t think about anything else. If a scooter approaches a stop sign they don’t slow down. Instead, they expect for a car that has stopped and starts to take its turn to slam on its brakes for them. Likewise, some of the users ride them on sidewalks and expect pedestrians to move out of their way.
