You have some couple year old computer sitting around collecting dust? pfSense, OpnSense, VyOS, etc; there's Sophos XG home edition for personal use that I've had success with.

You want a ready-to-use hardware package? Maybe a UniFi Security Gateway, Netgate (pfSense) appliances fit in the price range.
