Texas needs to do a better job of keeping costs under control as people continue to pour in. That is a big reason why people are moving out of the Bay in the first place. The good news (for Texas that is) is that the high cost of living in Silicon Valley is attributable to factors beyond just the explosion of wealth that occurred there. Obviously there is more to where you live then just cost, but it appears that cost is the one of the largest drivers in this migration.
