People would invent more codes if browsers would actually allow MSE.. Safari is today's gate keeper of many things. Just like Microsoft in 90s.

I honestly prefer Safari because the WebKit team deliberates before deciding whether to implement or not. This is evident by their status page.[0]

This has its pros and cons, and is up for debate (Eg. Web Bluetooth API[1], another example is how much time it took Apple to implement Google/YouTube's codec). I personally prefer their slow and steady pace as I feel the browser is lighter and more easy on the battery than Chrome and Chromium based browsers.

What do you mean? from that thread it seams like they have no intention of implementing web Bluetooth and that seams final.
