When we launched it a couple months ago, this was the biggest question. After a lot of discussion and feedback, this is the first step toward that answer. I was initially hesitant to offer any kind of paid option, but I think allowing users to support communities as well as offer other benefits while not subtracting from the overall experience, it could work.
It's kind of like a hybrid between Spotify, Twitch and YouTube Premium.
