Recently went back to ios after a few years in the android sphere. Didn't realise how spoilt I had been until I tried to get some video and .mp3 files onto the device! After looking around for a while I found a very simple method using VLC and their local wifi network sharing feature. Big love forevrr vlc, always there in my time of need.

Sharing Via Wifi has been exactly what I needed twice in the past few months! Having the ios vlc just host a local web page so that any device on the wifi can drag and drop files in a web browser is so cool.
