When I saw the title, I though it would be someone with a pile of atari and nintendo game consoles.
Instead, it was awesome.
I will not lie - I've considered putting in a 19" rack next to my computer to organize power/network/peripheral stuff once and for all, but I thought it was too extreme. Maybe it's just fine :)

Lots of cheap options help I've got a small 12U under a desk and its been great for organizing it all.

Desktop rack mounts are pretty common for A/V and music producers nowadays; they use the same 19" mounting standards as servers and what-not
