I’m running a RAID 6 array with btrfs on top. They handled the partitioning, so I don’t know if they’re using the built in raid 6, or the underlying Linux implementation. ThePowerOfFuet|5 years ago Synology uses Linux RAID and then uses btrfs inside the resulting metadisk. gvkhna|5 years ago Came to ask the same question. I have a hunch the raid 6 in the storage pool is separate from a file system raid. But I’ll have to do more research.Just switched to synology for backups and looking to have a data integrity rated system for long term.Anyone know more?
