The Bitcoin takes too much power narrative is absurd. It's clearly an anti-narrative by the media to maintain some FUD around cryptocurrency.

It's only that it isn't being fixed right now, but there are plenty of altcoins who are aiming to be fix this issue. You can just patch cryptocurrency to stop having this issue, same as any other software.
