I don't see why getting support tickets is a problem, surely you triage and prioritize them anyway, and if fixing that problem is for a small percentage of customers then it's not going to be a high priority.

I think it's unreasonable for any software developer to release a product and expect no bug reports to come back at them, but it still doesn't mean they have to tackle everything.
