This resonates a lot with me, looking back at every time I hated what I was doing, one of these was in misalignment
- doing stuff that doesn't matter, or that matters for someone but you don't care about yourself.
- lack of autonomy, be it that you've got a shitty manager, or that the system makes it impossible for you to do anything without 5 teams agreeing first, then receiving stamp of approval from a variety of preventers
- feeling like you're just switching from one feature to the next with no end goal
- not knowing if you're doing a good job - which as an imposter I'm always assuming I'm not.
The thing that _literally_ depresses me is that I have changed jobs 4 times in the last 5 years, and I've found the same everywhere I went.
