Godot sorely needed a major title so this is a great win for the engine. I hope in the future there will be better communication between godot and more professional teams trying to ship games. I couldn’t help but feel that sometimes they were stuck in an indie-dev echo chamber. Looking forward to watching Godot mature more, a big kudos to their devs and community who have been driving this engine for years!
Problem: nothing is really confirmed, no source has been provided. People just assume it is, because of the poster's status in the Godot Engine community.
There was a rumor going around based on a single screenshot from a 3D artist which in the mean time vanished.
We all can still make educated guesses as to what was Godot Engine's role in this project and to what extent it was actually used.
