This post overlaps things that are intellectually interesting and politically charged. Unfortunately it has been flagged because of the latter. We as a society should be concerned when the level of dehumanization on any front approaches that of the grievous past we should all be aware of

The funny thing in a lot of EU countries you can get a jab which doesn't give you the universal EU vaccine passport. If you got Sputnik or Sinopharm you are out of luck even though you are vaccinated

I notice that for people who are pro-vaccine, this “government authoritarianism” is not taken as, well, authoritarianism. It is rather perceived as the government caring for its people and adopting the necessary measures to control the situation. It’s interesting to see how different groups of society perceive the same issue from completely different angles.

If only there was a solution that 1) solved all of their problems listed and 2) protected them and society from the worst pandemic in recent years…

While this is true, governments are massively over-stepping their authority. Also, trust in government in post-soviet countries isn't exactly high to begin with. It's one thing to require proof of vaccination for places like restaurants, another to require an electronic pass to buy essentials like groceries.

> This shot has been given to over a billion people and is known safe around the world

Missed the point entirely. This is about authorities controlling everything in your life. Happy reading.

Of course he CAN NOT be a freedom fighter and this jab MUST BE safe ... because otherwise ... what would that would make you?

> "This is such garbage."

I assume you're actually referring to yourself with the above comments and not the person on Twitter. It boggles my mind how we aren't even 100 years away from a time where certain people were forced to wear the "Star of David" before those same people were murdered enmasse by the rest of society all the while feeling entirely morally justified in doing so because the government mandated it.

Now let's set aside the elephant in the room for a moment, where sane people realize the vaxxed should have nothing to fear from the unvaxxed if the miracle vaccines do indeed do what they say on the box, then all we're left with is a group of people, that includes yourself, who are seconds away from again morally justifying the mass murder of other citizens all the while feeling entirely morally justified in doing so because the government has again provided them with the necessary moral justification for those murders via government mandates.

And you think YOU are the good guy in this situation? I started this comment by quoting you, so I'll finish it the same way:

> "... you're an asshole."
