I have a couple of PowerMac G5s that I use for retro gaming with my dad. I find them to be fun and nostalgic. I find it really neat when folks are still developing and maintaining software for older machines. It’s a sad day that TenFourFox development has ended, though understandable. With dual 2.5Ghz G5s, Reddit, eBay and other websites could barely render. Some would just lag the whole machine out, like Amazon. I kinda wish websites would be more optimized for older machines, but I’m sure it’s just not worth it for businesses.

Brand new can be a good proxy of someone that'll spend money, fifteen years out of date is less likely to spend frivolously, and thirty years old loops back around to retro. The people in the third group probably use the machine despite having something much newer, and implies a geek willing to spend on a hobby.
So maybe not worth their time, but it could be argued as helping draw in more people.
