Similar things can be said for many other places that are currently near tipping points in terms of frequency and duration of heat waves and droughts.

I wonder about the intersection between nuclear-armed countries and countries at risk of disruption. Isn't it believed that North Korea either can or will be able to shortly launch nukes in Asia? I think some people even believe they're not far from ICBMs.

We're probably not close to that being a concern, but it would be better to work on before it becomes a concern.
