IF you rely on (older) compute codes, there are multiple problems getting Fortran code to compile and/or be numerically stable native on under Rosetta 2 on the M1 chipset. Given that it's a fast chip, this is frustrating to early adopters. Not every bit of code runs C/C++/Python.
