Hey HN!

I noticed over the last year that the online coupon codes Honey was finding me had stopped working, so my room mate and I made a tool that does the same thing but for the codes that stores send to your inbox. (We also apply the online public codes too that Honey find you but those seem to be less and less impactful in 2021).

We launched this week and our users are saving an average of $41 per checkout compared with Honey's $16 per checkout, so, this is super exciting for us.

PS if you are curious about the savings data I'm claiming, I made a big blog post about it here: https://joincheckmate.com/savings - our initial tests showed savings closer to $30 but the user data is now showing it is actually higher than this so I might revise the post, but, either way, it's double the savings of Honey which is super cool for me to see. My friends and I genuinely worked ourselves to madness building this thing!! Has been a long long process.

Long-term reader of HN (although tbh I usually read the reddit clone of this subreddit). Would love any feedback people have! After building this for so many months it's so exciting to see it out in the world.
