Yep and Intel is doing great with their incompetent management. These management tools can only work when there is a mission, common sense, competence, team work, respect for each other, and many more attributes rarely seen in corporate America. As the author and Warren Buffet said: “I try to invest in businesses that are so wonderful that an idiot can run them. Because sooner or later, one will.”

Good point - a company I worked at introduced (and later tweaked because they couldn't get it right, then later abandoned) OKRs and no one who made that decision would have known what was going on at Intel - they just saw the name of a big company and assumed it must be good.
