Ask HN: Cohort based courses for computer science

I recently met someone who was doing a cohort based course for song production. They were loving it, and had actually made some good songs (I think).

Are there any good cohort based courses for computer science or software engineering? There are so many things I'd like to learn more about, but don't want to go back to school and don't feel as excited with individual learning.
