I thought a lot about the comments here today, it's not often you see so much anger about just the mere insinuation that a company may possibly release what essentially seems like an IoT product.
I had trouble thinking of why the possibility of this being true would enrage so many, when you have no obligation to even buy it if it does become real.The best reason I can think of is that a lot of people were genuinely excited at Google glass or daydream when it was still budding, and want to see cool/impressive tech exist but are jaded by the previous emotional investments that didn't pay off.
