One of the nice things about NetMaker (at least that I've seen), is that it supports the vanilla WireGuard iOS app, just without the mesh capabilities and other automation.

I have my iOS client set up with a egress node on Netmaker, it gave me a vanilla WireGuard config and then I passed that to my iOS device.

Thanks, that's great. I'll check it out then. (I use Zerotier as it's the easiest I've found to set up, but even that seems more complicated than necessary).
