Since when can you not drink on a plane? I've never really looked if vaping on a plane is against the rules, but it's pretty easy to do that covertly enough anyways

Since the pandemic started you can't drink alcohol on planes, at least in the US (I realize this was happening overseas but I suspect that rule is not just the US). I've heard a flight attendant say it's a $10K fine for drinking on a plane now but I don't have confirmation/sources on that, I just know all US flights include a no alcohol announcement since the start of the pandemic. Vaping is also illegal on planes, having nothing to do with the pandemic, for the same reason as smoking (shared air space).

You are not allowed to bring your own liquor on the plane, plus, they we're drinking a ridiculous amount of alcohol and getting shit face. You aren't allowed to vape neither, like you aren't allowed to dance and have sex. I don't get why people don't see how their behaviors was completely unacceptable. The authorities also think it was unacceptable since they we're all picked up when they landed back.

It wasn't a commercial flight. It was a charted, private flight. What they are or not allowed to do ultimately would come down to the service provider... If the service provider was OK with it, they could actually do all of those things.
