I think other companies will emerge as leaders with more progressive flexible policies. It just makes sense for that to happen.

Don't be so quick to assume others will follow Google. Google has not been a leader in anything during COVID.

I think the days of companies following Google ended long ago. Hell, Google mostly follows Meta's lead these days.
