Title seems misleading. Should be "Ukraine's next generation tanks are too expensive" or similar. From what I've heard, Ukraine's current tank force is very outdated.

The T-80 has a terrible reputation in Russia because they were shot up badly in the Chechen War. (Other tanks that weren't used in that war didn't have their reputation damaged!)
I wonder if the whole point of those Warsaw Pact "big brick" apartment buildings was to make Blitzkrieg obsolete. I mean, you can be on the sixth floor and drop pianos, anvils, molotov cocktails and anything else on a tank and there is nothing they can do about it because they can't raise the gun that high.
