It's just new tech for quite an old thing - what is the difference between a policeman firing teargas from a gun (which happens everywhere, not just in Israel) and this?
You can make the case this actually reduces the chance of severe violence since the police don't have to come close.
The area of The Law surrounding how law enforcement agencies may use drones is an important area of Law that is doubtful getting the correct and knowledgeable and non-authoritarian lens applied it critically requires at this point in history.
Unreal how the atrocities are continually exacerbated by use of even more advanced tech to shield regular Israeli police from any clear responsibility. This apartheid regime has got to go!

Perhaps the protesters should get their own drones and tear gas deployment mechanisms?
"Ah, yes, let's play the escalation game."
Leave it to the Israelis to pull stunts of convenience such as this.
Poor Palestinians.
