Fun Fact: Germany and Austria have agreed to pay for Russian gas/oil in Rubles.

And apparently, at least Poland, is now buying gas and oil from Germany (obviously now at a premium due to two transactions instead of one).

The relevant contracts for Germany have an interesting clause: They can only by changed by agreement. If one party wants a change, it has to offer something that it thinks the other will want. What may it be?

Reduced minimum purchases in the coming years perhaps? .de has stated that it wants to reduce those purchases.
