hi, this is intended behaviour, you cannot remove notes. just to clarify they are kept Only in your browser (in local storage to be accurate), so if you clear storage on the website they will be gone.

Can you elaborate on why this is intended behaviour? I've never come across a note taking system that doesn't allow removing notes.

sorry I missed your reply, this behaviour is present because I wanted to give users a feel of paper notes in a notebook, there you cannot remove a note that you already created. Also allowing for removal leads to a question what to do with linked notes.

Definitely have some backup/restore functionality for that.

thank you, the website is mostly for demo purposes, for real usage I have built apps for Android, Windows, Linux and Mac, and you can export and import notes to your filesystem via menu.
