Anyone who works in automotive manufacturing/pricing: what does the touchscreen/cameras/“smart” part of the vehicle cost?
I’d love to buy a “dumb” chassis/motor/battery/interior from Toyota (for example) and plop in a tactile console with a simpler controller. I wonder if there’s a market for something like that at a possibly lower price point.
